Cobia Tournament

THESE RULES MAY CHANGE W/O NOTICE BEFORE 1-13-2012 You may register before then but no refunds, regardless of what rules change

Entry - $28 + tax per person
$3 from each entry will be taken by Sunjammers for processing.
$25 from entry will go to the "pot"

First Fish - $50 check
remaining monies will be dispersed as follows:
Biggest Fish Wins
1st Place - 50%
2nd Place - 30%
3rd Place - 20%

To encourage participation we are having a "Mystery Weight" (details below) Winner of mystery weight will be awarded a NOT SURE YET (MAYBE A PAT ON THE BACK)

RULES
1) Tournament begins when the first Cobia of the 2012 is caught on City Pier, County Pier or St Andrews State Park Pier and ends April 30th 2012 @4:30PM
2) Entry fee is $28 + tax and you may register anytime prior to or during the tournament, but must enter at least 24 hours before catching a fish.
If registering online 24 hour count will start once "order" is complete. 3) Decision of the tournament officials is final. Violation of any of the tournament rules will be subject to disqualification from the tournament without refund.
4) Fish must be caught on rod and reel; no mutilated, frozen or old fish will be weighed.
5) All Florida Limits and Laws apply. All fish must have at least a 33" measurement to the fork.
6) Tie breaker is first fish weighed.
7) Intentional snagging or foul hooking is prohibited.
8) All fish must be weighed at Sunjammers
9) This is an individual tournament. NO HELP in fishing (except for gaffing fish)
10) Upon weighing in a fish you will be given a weight receipt that you must sign. Once signed the receipt will stand AS IS
11) Angler can win more than one place
12) Scales will be open 10 Min after sunjammers opens and close 15 min prior to closing hours. NO EXCEPTIONS fish may be iced if caught after scale hours, but can not be frozen (see clarification at bottom)
13) If there are only two qualifiers 60% of third place money will be added to first place and 40% to second place.
14) In the event no eligible fish are weighed in the cash Awards assigned to the tournament will be donated to a NON PROFIT organization (to be determined by Sunjammers)

Mystery weight information:
There will be a pre picked weight before tournament starts, the weight will not be disclosed until after tournament ends The fish closest to the weight from either division will win, in the event of a tie 1st fish weighed will win

Sunjammers hours are subject to change w/o notice. It is the responsibility of angler to verify store hours.
